We were born
neither poor
nor rich
just enough
We were raised
neither in mansions
nor in huts
just a home
We were send
neither to the best schools
nor to the worst schools
just a good school
We learnt our way
neither to get top ranks
nor fail our exams
just to score for grades
We were taught
neither to ignore
nor to leave a mark
just to pass by
We grew into characters
neither strong
nor weak
just mediocre
We fall in love with
neither a great guy
nor a bad guy
just an other guy
We get married
neither to a right guy
nor a wrong guy
just an ordinary guy
We do our jobs
neither with a promotion
nor with a demotion
just without emotion
We earn money
neither to multiply
nor to donate
just to bequeath to our
own sons
We raise our kids
neither smart
nor dumb
just as same
We still live our lives
neither happy
nor sad
just we live
This cycle
neither stops
nor breaks
just goes on....
