She asked him to do it. He said later.
She waited for two days.
She asked again.
He said, what's the hurry?
I'll do it myself.
No need. I will do it for you.
She lost her patience. She did it
herself.

They waited in the lounge. She was called inside. She went
inside limping. She waited with anxiety. He lifted it up. Looked at it in
light. There is a hairline fracture. Next time, don't do it yourself. Take
help. Dusting the ceiling fan.
X-rays don't lie!
Ouch:( The story of my life. Just get tired of waiting for the job to be done and end up doing it myself. Nice one for X :)

Goodness. Funny take.
ReplyDeleteThis was hilarious ! Such things happen because men take ages to help ( ! ? ) with anything around the house.
ReplyDeleteF in F,
ReplyDeleteWhat a twist in the end? But factual, men do tend to delay doing what she asks. And you are asking for trouble by offering better dishes. I am highly tempted but sad that you will have to visit India before I can make trip to your place.
Take care
Funny, and I like the ending. Men hate household and don't even want to take the garbage out. http://www.writer-way.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteFunny :)..and what a coincidence!! I almost broke my back and i still have the pain in my lower back during long journeys!!! I put a chair on a folding table to reach the ceiling fan.... and the help my hubby did for me was to hold the chair on the ground so much worried i would fall down...and so did i as soon as i put my foot on the table ,it got folded and fell (sat) flat on the ground!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell said Latha-ghar ghar ki kahani.
