A couple of captures from my cute little Canon!

I unexpectedly happened to visit a workshop at Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram) in my India trip. Their craftsmanship is nothing but stunning.

My resting time folks. Do not disturb.

Listen to my music.

Dance to the tune.

Each one is a beauty.

Gifted are these people in their art, how about their lives?

Where else could you see me in so many forms?

These days, I don't know have anything but serious stuff to post. That's why, they are here for a change of mood...:)

  2. I must say your Ganesha photos make me fall in love with him--he is sooooo cute--the resting Ganesha, the musician Ganesha, the dancing Ganesha, Ganesha boys sitting around...

  3. if seeing him in so many forms is a change in mood from serious stuff, then i am in a hard place, dont know what i should be asking for. loved the pics and the text. given the large scale availability of these idols in the indian setting, we often fail to give due importance to the craftsmanship behind it. thanks for sharing.
