Vintage Cars

As Fall is stepping in slowly, winter is not very far away. Our friends planned to take the kids to a park and spend the day out.We happened to know of this vintage car/airplane show and stopped there. It was really good.

Black is my favourite colour in cars, but this red one was a
                                                               beauty.
This car was as long as a boat
This plane was made at home.
Rushi and his friend trying to mess with a man who looked like a scarecrow
                                                          A local musical band
Can you believe these planes are parked in the garages in front of their homes?
There were so many vintage cars, didn't know which one to take a picture of.
Does this look like a bug? That too a purple bug?
I fell in love with this one

The home owners own these planes.

                                                           Look how immaculate she is.

                                                                     Flaming Red
I think I should call this a gray silver bug.
Hope you all enjoyed the vintage show too!

  1. Old is gold.Nice seeing antiques in running condition.I am remined of my Calcutta days when me,my wife and daughters would take vantage seats on the ground to watch old cars driven at snail speed by people in dress appropriate to the age of cars. Some would splutter and stop and would move after some cajoling.
    Thanks for bringing nostalgic memories

  2. Nice to see these vintage beauties, right? (They're pretty noisy though. We saw some at a Forth of July Parade. They were honking away like crazy. It was fun).
And home made planes too? So cool!

    1. Haha..what a timing? I was posting a comment on your post and you on mine, both at the same time..:) You know what Jas, the best part was how neatly they were maintained. They were so crisp clean, I felt they would get dirty if we even touch them. Yeah, here people are amazing some times.

    1. Thank you so much Bikram..No, I didn't know you could fly a plane..how cool is it! I wanted to be a pilot as a kid, but someone told me, I cannot become a pilot as I had glasses..:) now, I think you should buy a plane as you don't have any fridges in your garage...lol

  7. That must have been a luxury right? :) Ya, I just wanted to stare at some of them like that. Maintaining them so immaculately was the best part and getting them there for exhibition from different parts of the country is another wonderful thing.
