Happy Deepawali!!

As I already mentioned in one of the posts before, the cutest things said to me are those by my kids. My son is a spit-fire. Where does he get it from? Of course, his mom. What goes around, comes around. I am not sure if he thinks before he says something or just spits it out impulsively.

This was when he was 4. He was sleeping with his grand mom listening to some stories. Suddenly, there comes a sound. God knows what I fed him that day, he started passing strange sounds. MIL asked him, what happened Rushi? You are sending out bombs? Phat came the reply: "Yes granny, there is a happy deepawali in my butt". Poor kid! He thinks that bombs are blasted only on Diwali.

From that day on, whenever I hear someone wishing me Happy Deepwali, this is what pops into my head..:P

P.S: I know this is a gross joke for some of you. That's ok. I didn't say it. My little one said it :)

A very Happy Diwali to all of you, my friends. Have lots of fun, eat lots of sweets, burn lots of crackers and be safe.

    1. Hahaa...True BM. Imagination, sure he does..he already has big plans for his wife and how many kids he wants to have and all that..:P. Sense of humor, I think he just talks what comes into his mind, and kids are like that anyway.

  19. I so loved this story..it made me smile because I think it brings to mind any parents moments where their children come out of the blue with the most honest and interesting statements-the kind that need written down to share with others. = ) Thanks for visiting me from Roshni's today. I truly appreciate your time spent today with me. = )
