A Morning in Shasta!!

I want you to sit with me,
in silence;
To feel the solitude
in the gush of
fresh morning winds
waiting for the rising sun;
In between the Shasta Mountains,
watching the stillness
of the Shasta Lake;
I want to
embrace the vastness
of the Sky above me,
the earth beneath me,
and the peace around me
in unison!!

P.S: Dedicated to a friend who took me back to my teens again and feels I am a zephyr over the mountains!!

  3. The dark mountains against the back drop of the vast of the sky,the still water of the lake,the fragrance of the morning,the rising sun and the power of silence is a right mix for peace that descended on you.A nice poem.
