My Dreams

You don't know the pain
for you don't dream;
You don't dream
for you don't know the pain
of broken dreams;

I know the pain
for my dreams are shattered;
into pieces,
bit by bit,
day by day;

That day has come
of which I realise
no dream comes true;

My pain fades
into the sinking night
Yet, I hope
to dream
the dreams that come true!

Makes sense? NO. right? Hmm, I know...that's why it's here...:)

  2. Makes sense completely and if not then what's the point of writing poetry when you reveal everything in plain language. It's like riding the horses of dreams. I like the simplicity of this poem.

    Please connect your blogger profile with your name as when you drop comment on other's blog, your blog name is not visible.

    2. When I click your name from my blog, it shows your details and what you follow but not your blog. I think you have to check the settings of your profile, check the box in front of your own blog name. Anyways, I remember your blog url by heart, I can visit anytime I want without link.:)

    3. Hmmmmmmmmm......after fiddling with the settings for so long and taking hubby's help, I think I changed it. I know it's a weird title for a blog. Huh? But see, you got it by heart..:P . Btw, am an amateur in poetry. You don't need any help from me. You write realllly well..:)

      I loved this layout's colors and pattern, that's why I have it. Otherwise, it's kind of funky, not let me do things my way...:(

  7. True...dreams are stuff that is made up in dreams--now here, next moment gone, now again resurrected, now whole as if it was never gone, or is it so?

    1. Hmm...not sure..:) I've written this wishing something will happen for sure, but knew it may not happen and agreed to a point that it will never happen.
