100 Words On Saturday 7 Prompt : MASK/S

I wake up with a fresh face each day. Then I wear the mask of a cook. Go to work. Wear a mask to do my job with a never ending pretentious smile. After work, I wear the mask of a driver. Pick up my kids. Wear the mask of a teacher. Help them in Homework. Then the mask of a maid. Clean after them. Mask of a mom.  Feed, read stories, hug goodnight. Last comes the mask of a wife. Take care of husband’s needs and get to bed. Now I am me. Mask free. Lost in my world.

P.S: Corinne, this is my very first try to write within a boundary. Hope, it's not that bad.. :)

  2. It is quite good. We all wear masks for various occasions, and the pretense continues. The show must go on.

While one enjoys wearing masks,a longer mask free time would always be welcome.
